The executive team at SO Advice offer over 35 years of combined serviced office sector experience and are passionate about fulfilling the needs of both clients and operators alike.
Serviced Offices Advice was founded in 2012 by industry expert Martin Halling, and James Tatham.
Having both previously worked for Regus, the global market industry leader at this time, they bring their expert knowledge and best practice of the industry and apply this on a consultative and impartial basis to new and existing clients.
They work very closely with a multitude of businesses, corporate clients, and serviced office operators – managing their local and global serviced office needs and applying their combined industry experience and extensive knowledge to the flexible workspace market.
To date there are very few people offering this specialised advice or those who have the necessary experience and expertise to do so on a truly impartial basis. Our bespoke hands-on approach and range of services tailored to our clients’ unique needs aims to capitalise on this shortfall in the serviced office market place.

Martin’s career has been in the corporate consultancy and business to business sectors. Prior to founding SO Advice, Martin worked for 11 years at Regus Group as a Director of Corporate Accounts. The role included global account management of many of the Group’s largest structural users. Prior to this, he was International Sales Director for S.B.F.I. Ltd, the global market leaders in the design and manufacture of bespoke trading floors for the world’s largest banks and other financial institutions. Martin’s well-respected experience has enabled him to attain highly influential status with providers and clients within the industry.

James has over 25 years working within the commercial real estate industry, including four very successful years in Hong Kong in the late 1980s with Jones Lang Wootton. Prior to co-founding SO Advice, James spent the previous 12 years at Regus Group as a Corporate Account Director. The role included managing some of the Group’s largest structural serviced office users. James’ specialism is in structuring the larger more complex requirements for managed space and serviced offices. James brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise of the flexible and serviced office sectors. He is a well-known and respected figure within the industry.
