London Bridge is an area on the south bank of the river Thames, directly across the river from the City of London, in the London Borough of Southwark stretching from Tower Bridge to the east across to Blackfriars Bridge to the west.

The area is popular with tourists with many landmarks like the Globe Theatre, the OXO building, HMS Belfast, City Hall, Southwark Cathedral and Tower Bridge plus several museums and art galleries like the Tate Modern, the Design Museum and Vinopolis.

London Bridge has undergone a significant level of regeneration over the last ten years attracting hundreds of businesses to the area. London’s tallest building the Shard opened in 2012 and was designed by award winning architect Renzo Piano.
